Every year, our president gets a line item in the budget for a special project that is close to their heart. Yikes! this year it is only $1000 and that barely buys you a balloon bouquet at the Dollar Tree.
In a joint effort of the Fun and Funds committee we have a President's Day White Elephant sale in February. The President decides where the money will go and creates a $ goal. The membership brings items of some value they no longer want and we have a party selling our stuff to meet the $ amount set by the President.
Historically the White Elephant sale has been well attended and fun fellowship experience.
